Under the Law of Ukraine "On the Protection of Rights to Industrial Designs" the object of the industrial design can be shape, picture, colouring, or their combination that define the product appearance and are intended to satisfy aesthetic and ergonomic demands. Thus, there can be two dimensional or three dimensional designs.
The same design can be presented in few alternative versions. The amount of the alteratives is not limited, and all of them gain the protection under one patent application.
