Except of this, several objects if connected by the common inventive idea, can be joined into one patent claim.
Here are the definitions of each object to an invention (utility model):
Device – a work or product representing the constitutive element or a combination of the interconnected constitutive elements aimed to perform the certain function. This is the most commonly exploited object of an invention (utility model). Devices include the mashines, tools, equipment, furniture, machines etc. For example: «electro-magnetic device».
Substance – a composition of an individual chemical compounding or composition (blend, tincture, amalgam etc.). For example: «Corrosion resistant polistyrene compounding».
Microorganism Strain – a clear germ culture taken from natural habitat such as environment (soil, water etc.), and/or from the human or animal body. For example: «Microorganism strain Rhizobium Leguminosarum bv. Viceae as a basis fro fertilizer for peas».
Process (Method) – action or series of actions performed on the material objects by means of usage of the material items, if such a use is aimed at an achievement of a certain techical result. For example: «The way of water softening».
Novel Use of the Known Product (Process) – technical solution that presumes the offer to use the known object in a new way. For example: «Use of the ultrasonic radiation for the treatment of the visile nerve atrophy».
Group of Inventions – a combination of objects joined by the common inventive idea, i.e. those technically interconnected by means of one or several essential features. For example: «Method of cleaning if the pipeline inner surface, and a device fo such a cleaning».
